It’s officially Small Business Week and we’re celebrating all week long. Our calendar is crammed this week with fabulous Birmingham Small Business Week events all over Birmingham.
One of the ways we're celebrating is by sharing other great small business with our network. Today, we're highlighting five of our favoritess so that you can get to know and love them as much as we do.
(You can also check out our wildly popular Instagram post that has at least 50 small business listed in the comments!)
Five Birmingham Small Businesses That We Love
First up – Waverly Advisors and Elizabeth Brasher
We love that Waverly Advisors is a small business that provides boutique wealth management services to their clients. Elizabeth Brasher is a Partner and Practice Leader of Waverly Women which is particularly focused on the unique financial planning and wealth management needs of women. That’s a double win in our book.
Next, The Val Group and Valerie Thomas.
The Val Group works with industries and companies across Birmingham to ensure that potential new employees get the very best Birmingham experience when they visit our city. Full disclosure: we love The Val Group and Valerie so much that we partner with them to help make the relocation process run smoothly.
Workshop is more than just gorgeous, light-filled event and meeting space (which it truly is). It’s also an event planning business, with Katherine specializing in small corporate off-site events, workshop coordination and production and host to some of our favorite monthly events like Fresh Start.
RamLea Partners and Ryan Graham and Cristy Swint
RamLea Partners is a consulting partnership after my own heart. Ryan and Cristy's expertise is helping companies and organizations drill down into their culture and focus on reaching the most valuable resource within an organization: the human spirit.
Camden & Blue curates the most beautiful and unique custom, brand-focused corporate gifting solutions that make such an amazing impression. We could love them just for that, but owner Atarsha McMillian and I really bonded of the fact that we both grew up in tiny, rural South Alabama towns.
We wish could list ALL of our favorite small businesses, but that post would go one for DAYS!
Please take a moment to check out the list above. It takes so little of our time to lend support and visibility to those who are out there running their own show but it makes such a BIG difference.
We’d also love to hear about more small businesses worth celebrating so please give them a shoutout in the comments!
